BULLETPROOF GLASS
Bulletproof glass, also known as ballistic-resistant glass, is a high-strength safety glazing material designed to resist impact from bullets, forced entry, and other high-pressure attacks. It is commonly made by combining multiple layers of glass with special interlayers such as PVB, EVA, SGP, or polycarbonate materials.
This layered structure helps absorb and slow down impact energy, preventing the glass from breaking apart easily and providing added protection for people, property, and high-security spaces.
Applications
Bulletproof glass is widely used in locations that require a higher level of security and protection.
Common applications include:
- Banks, cashier counters, and financial institutions
- Police stations, government offices, and security facilities
- Prisons, detention centers, and controlled-access buildings
- Armored vehicles, cash transport vehicles, and special-purpose cars
- Military vehicles, aircraft, and marine vessels
- Jewelry stores, display cabinets, vault rooms, and luxury retail counters
- Windows, doors, partitions, and observation areas in high-risk environments
