INSULATING GLASS UNIT

Insulating Glass Units (IGUs) are made of two or more glass panels separated by a desiccant-filled aluminum spacer and sealed at the edges with high-strength sealants. This multi-layered construction improves thermal performance, helps control condensation, and enhances indoor comfort.

Key Features

  • Excellent thermal insulation for improved energy efficiency

  • Helps reduce heat transfer compared to single glazing

  • Provides sound reduction for quieter indoor spaces

  • Minimizes condensation by using dry air within the sealed cavity

  • Can be combined with coated, laminated, or ceramic frit glass for enhanced performance and appearance

  • Improves indoor comfort by reducing cold radiation and discomfort near glazed areas
