INSULATING GLASS UNIT
Insulating Glass Units (IGUs) are made of two or more glass panels separated by a desiccant-filled aluminum spacer and sealed at the edges with high-strength sealants. This multi-layered construction improves thermal performance, helps control condensation, and enhances indoor comfort.
Key Features
Excellent thermal insulation for improved energy efficiency
Helps reduce heat transfer compared to single glazing
Provides sound reduction for quieter indoor spaces
Minimizes condensation by using dry air within the sealed cavity
Can be combined with coated, laminated, or ceramic frit glass for enhanced performance and appearance
Improves indoor comfort by reducing cold radiation and discomfort near glazed areas
